I remember Nobby saying that he valued attitude and "good blokeness" over talent when it came to recruitment. I wonder if it's going away from this principle that has cost us. Just seems that the last couple of months have demonstrated a lack of character in the squad - able to get themselves in a position to break into the eight, only to flop when it matters cf twelve points up at Cas, six and a man up v Catalans, the four pointer vs Hull.

Frustrating but unsurprising. Hope for a bit more backbone in the second half, hope but not sure I expect.

Who really expected anything different. 1 step forward 3 step back all season. No consistancy, poor basic skills and bad decision making. I think that is true on and off the field.

Crusaders players have all been told they won't get an SL contract with the club, but have decided to give their all for themselves and their fans. Ah Van should have an "I'll show you" attitude.

If he's underperforming because he's been told he's not wanted next year it's unproffesional. As you say he's still getting paid to do a job.
