A very fair question, since the RFL are still saying they expect the Bulls to finish the season, or at least see no reason why they can't, whilst still playing hardball with the only (as yet) firm offer on the table.

This sort of contradicts the administrator, who takes a more "this can't for on for long" sort of line, and keeps setting deadlines.

The ticket office is still selling tickets and now Sky are re-arranging games which, technically must be at risk of not being played. I'm guessing that someone, somewhere knows something, but it ain't the fans, that is for certain.

The RFL have guaranteed to pay the players wages until the end of November and the coaching staff are working for nothing. As long as the club stays in administration creditors are kept at bay too.

If no buyer materialises I am sure the club will remain in administration and the Bulls will fulfil their fixtures. With no real assets to realise and the RFL meeting running costs, there is no point liquidating the club, the administrator will be left to continue his efforts to find a buyer.

After the end of November well that's a different matter.

The only source for that is dozy parker in the Sun. Given administrator is currently asking RFL to fund august wages seems a bit unlikely that any agreement is already in place.

What would be the point of November?

The season ends in September, and after that the RFL won't have to be bothered about us mucking up the table. And most of the players will be signing for someone else come the beginning of September anyway...

They probably do but the RFL won't be bothered after September, their major consideration seems to be finishing the season, which is understandable but not totally relevant to the long term survival.

In truth, [iif[/i there really is no acceptable bid to allow the current company to carry on, and winding up becomes inevitable, then the sooner it happens the more time there is to set up another club before next season. I doubt the RFL see it [iquite[/i that way though..
