| I know it's being discussed in the 19 man squad thread, but being the attention seeking troll I am, I wanted to discuss it here.
Is he injured? Potter mentioned we had a clean bill of health after the Cru-Cru-Cru-Crusaders game, so for him to be missing is absolutely baffling.
With the pack they've got why aren't we sacrificing one of the cloned and ineffective second rowers we have or even one of our 7 hookers? Morley, Carvell, Wood and Harrison v Graham? Bit harsh on Jammer IMO.

It sure is, which is why Potter will probably pick Puletua, Faasavalu and Soliola (since Harrison is a back rower) to play alongside him. />
You may remember our lightweight props and second rowers (Clough starting at prop, Bryn and Dixon on the bench) playing in a team that scored 40 at Warrington last year against their big meanies?

Puletua isn't a prop, Fa'asavalu does 10 minutes per half and Soliola won't play at all. Jammer will have to do massive stints if the likes of Hargreaves, Puletua or Clough are propping. Makes no sense at all.

Puletua is a FAR better prop than Fozzard. Hargreaves is in there on form as he has played better there than Fozzard when given the chance. Clough can, has, and will do an excellent job there. />
Don't stress, we'll be fine.

I'd love to have that mentality. It's just got the same vibe the Hull game had and we know how that went.

I have to agree with FTV here, Tony P is much better than Foz at prop, 3/4th best in the league last year. Cloughy, IMO is better too, and almost surprisingly Brynn in back on some sort of form, so my first choice props currently would be (in order) Jammer, Tony P, Cloughy, Brynn/Fozz = 4th but as Brynn is younger and can do longer stints, i'd go with him currently

This pack held their own and Wigan won the game:
Fielden (Graham), Leuluai (Cunningham), Coley (Puletua), Hansen (Flannery), J Tomkins (Wilkin), O'Loughlin (Roby). Interchange: Prescott (Hargreaves), Bailey (Moore), Paleaaesina (Faasavalu), Mossop (Soliola/Clough).
I wouldn't swap our pack for that wigan pack. />
Our outside backs are the problem at the weekend, I have no concerns about out pack or halves.

I can never tell if you're being serious or not, but to pick up on this, it doesn't have that feel at all. I think most fans didn't really think too much about the Hull game and maybe the players underestimated Hull a bit. I know I did. I can't see that happening with Warrington. It is a local derby - the fans and players will be up for this. Our record against them is one to be very proud of and one we should be looking to maintain. Warrington are genuine threats at the top and Saints know that. Knocking them off their stride would give us a big boost going into the easter period. />
If our attitude in defence is good on Friday, it'll be a fantastic match and I'd fancy us to win it.

Fozzard was a great signing for us 4yrs ago and we got rid at the right time?
This season is a step back for saints as we should have had the foresight to see that Cayless was leaving and had a better younger fitter prop to come in and offer more?

or we've lined up a proper world class prop for next year and we needed a stop gap for 1 year?

Fozzards doing the job asked for him. He is giving us options in the pack.
/>
For example next week when we play Hudds, I expect to see Fozzie back in the side as i suspect one or more of our pack will have knocks.
/>
Fozzie gives us pack rotation options, for example we can potentially afford to rest Graham against some of the lesser opposition at home.
/>
I found it interesting Graham only played about 40 mins against Crusaders. Far less than is normally the case

Yup, and look how close the score was at the end. Bar Salford, Catalans and Hardlyquins, just how many teams can we consider 'lesser opposition' these days? I think most teams would fancy their chances against us these days.

That's why I posted this thread asking that very question. He could indeed be injured.

But he wasn't playing prop all last season, so it isn't really a fair comparison when you are a running outside the centre channels is it?
