I fail to see why they would overdeclare crowds to be honest. Mr T. Axman would be checking for sure.

It's easy.

Add it on for the quieter games, take a few off for the busier. It evens out.

Unless they go off the Leicester Tiger's principle of announcing "Tickets Sold for this game"

I actually guesssed at 10,000. I think it was about right. The stand and paddock were full and Wakey brought a few for a change, had it been on Sky reckon would have been no more than about 8,000.

Decent turnout in numbers and vocal performance by us last night.

It did feel like there were more than 10,700 there last night, I must admit.

I was surprised at the 'official' attendence figure.
Looked to me more like ~ 11500-12000.

I thought about 11500.

It was well spaced out but every section was covered with bodies. Normally there are pockets of spaces in all four corners and you can gauge a crowd pretty well from the away end and whether you can see any concrete on the pop side from the main stand. There weren't many gaps in there and the away end was a good quarter full.

I don't think the crowd was materially misstated either way.

I expected around this figure, as people have mentioned the mass of fans were evenly spread across the ground, good contingent of Wakey fans 800-1000.
Couldn,t imagine another 60% more fans in the ground to take it it up to the max.
