First game of that particular season saw us get stuffed 32-10 at home by Bradford. I'm pretty sure the season didn't end after that defeat, and we were in bigger disarray back then.

I can understand what your saying but we have to be honest and admit that potter and saints just dont go together. We cant keep going like last night and last season or we going to find this season over before it starts.

I'd give potter 5 games, if the is no change then it's thanks mick but fook off.

Same set of players went on and won the league though.

I'm not commenting so much on the Potter issue. At the end of the day we came up short by 40 minutes of winning the GF last yearegardless of how we played. If we continue to lose games like we did last night then I'm all for Potter going but last night was the first game of the season against a team who played magnificently well. All's not rosy by any means but it's not the catastrophe some people are making it out to be.

The concern for me is we haven't scored 20 points in a game since the end of July last year. We grind teams down to take victories and if our defence is off, we get blown out of the game like last night. We're terrible to watch and have been for a while now.

It's upto the coach to change the tactics and it's upto the players to adapt. Can they do it? We're lucky we're playing Bradford next week as they are awful aswell.

Without taking anything away from the hull defence, but lets be honest here, we didn't ask much of there defence the way we attacked.

We wouldn't have broke down the blackbrook unders 18s with our 1 man rugby.

Our lack of attack puts pressure on our defence. Teams know if there defence is half decent then we are a push over.
