I'm not biased i don't care who beats Wigan

wigan only had kids out but a wins a win

i dont think just scraping a win against wigan reserves is worthy of credit

It wasnt just the reserves
Wigans bench consisted of all under 18s as well as one under 18 starting
If i was a Leigh fan I would be Pretty embarrased today

It was a really good close contest. Yes Wigan did field an entire reserve side, but they are a vey good side, who would give any of the Championship sides a good game.

To illustrate how close it was, Robbie Paul tried a drop goal when the scores were level at 10 all.

Wigan then scored the try of the match to go 14 -10 up with about 10 minutes left, the conversion hitting the post.

Leigh scored in the corner and Nanyn hit a superb touchline conversion.
Vievers missed a last minute penalty which would have given Wigan a well deserved draw.

Whats with the negative tactics on display in a friendly? Kicking penalties at goal? Whats that all about?

It was the wrong decision. There was a bit of confusion on the field over what to do and one of the lads said they would take the kick. Don't think the coaching staff were too pleased.

Whats with bothering what the pie munchers are up to? We have our own problems like getting 2hatted by Kieghley.

What kind of team did you put out? Was it all academy lads?

yep, alot of our lads had backed up tuesday and Friday, so Sunday as well would've been asking for injuries

Looks like Leigh are going to get dusted by Keighley this season then
