Going off the murmerings from the weather people both this game and Beno's testimonial may well be at risk.

It would be a real shame for these to be cancelled. I would never have guessed that we'd be worried about matches because of snow! Not in Smellins anyway.

Unless there is a massive deterioration in conditions, looks like this game will deffo go ahead. Any idea on what sort of squad Saints will send? I've seen that you are playing Halifax just a few days later and you'll playing a full strength squad for that one. I know we'll get tonked if you put out a strong side, but would rather see a few of your better players in action rather than an academy side.

Your guess is as good as probably most of ours on this one. I don't know how Saints are working this out. We have three matches in a week. While we all know that the match against Keighley is due to be an under 20's side, there's been no word on the Widnes match. Last year we put out a full first team against you but since they will be playing against Halifax on Friday, I don't know who will appear on Tuesday.

Don't assume that our young guns are worse than our first teamers, btw! Some of them showed up some of the first team good style last season IMO.

I imagine we'll name the full squad for both games and have plenty of rotations especially in the forwards.

Widnes will be at full strength for this one so should give you a decentish game compared to last years hammering.
