Chris had some good games for us last year. I guess how much he plays for Saints and how much he plays for Widnes will depend on how many injuries Saints get this year.

With guys like Wheeler and Lomax playing in the backs as well as the addition of Soliola he may spend most of his time at Widnes than Saints.

Hopefully that will be the case mate.

Its a great deal for the lad, I would prefer to be playing for widnes and knocking around the club knowing I am goign to be playing first team RL, rather than turn up at KR and play a reserve game infront of the chairmaker, pa man, and piggy fletcher. I like this deal, and like how we seem to have lovely links with Widnes, wonder if they will lend us their stadium for a few months in 2011 ?

We'll be ok for the start of 2011 until we get our own digs. Quite happy to pay rent, provided we get a gas mask. Some of us are used to clean air!

I have to say I prefer the other option which is to start 2011 with a run of away games (which we get next to no revenue from anyway) followed by a block of home games when the new stadium is ready. Imagine a run of 6 back to back home games at the new stadium to launch it, close to capacity for 6 weeks should bolster the coffers nicely.

Why would we want to give our revenue to Widnes when we can work it that way? There is a precendent for this when other teams (pies and quins) have not had access to their home ground for a period. A much better option I think.

Wouldnt it be hard to do the fixtures for that way though ?

not really sidders, they work the season round hull and wigans stadia uses well enough, why not for the mighty S men?

dunno, just thought stickign us away from home for like 6 or 7 or 8 weeks on the run would cause headaches with the other clubs when it comes to slamming us in for an 8 slot of home games at the end of the season...I dunno, I dont think much, just thought it might be an issue... cant be asssed to be honest, i will watch them play at the DW stadium, wont pay like, just stand outside and sneak a view through the dirty gap in the dirty emergency exit gates of the dirty stadium.
