Another legend who needs to shut up. He is destroying his reputation by talking drivel. Baffled by bringing in a 21yr old international hooker as your other hooker is about to retire? that makes sense to me! Great player, average coach at best, and very little idea of the modern game.

Alex Murphy is low life who loves his steak

He has a point. Everything he raises is an issue we've discussed on here and the on field future of the club is far from secure. And if Alex Murphy says Graham is unhappy you can take it as golden that he is. He will have more than enough internal contacts to know that for a fact.

About the 3 hooker role.. So Scott Moore couldn't fit in at 6? or Roby can't play 13? Just because Wilkin has No 12 on his back doesn't mean he plays 2nd row every game

I think alex makes some very good points if I'm being honest.

Saints did let the team grow old together and have not even tried to replace the players gone for what ever reason.

DA is looking like a very hard act to follow for potter.

Saints fans are not as sure about winning as we used to be.

We have turned into a bash it up side with no attack.

We do have some good young lads coming through and also eastmond has to be our 7 next year.

It is strange situation having 3 hookers in our squad.

With bringing Moore back aren't Saints giving themselves cover at half back and hooker?
KC is in his last year and no one knows how many games he'll play or minutes a game.
Roby is excellent.
Eastmond is now 7 with Pryce at 6.
If you have a problem at 9, Moore can start with Roby off the bench from where he then plays the remainder of the game.
If half back is a problem Moore can go to 7 if Eastmond is out, and if Pryce isn't playing then Kyle will go to 6 and Moore to 7.
I think it's a very good move by Saints, they have four pivotal positions covered by five very good players.
I can't see that being anything but a good thing for your club.
I know Murphy will have forgotten more than any of us will ever know about the game but I do think Saints are being quite smart over this.

hes a legend from he's playing days but from some of the statments he has come out with there jave made him look a complete and utter clueless tool. Thats the problem with most of the older players they dont understand the way the game has advanced in every way possible and still think the tactics from there days are good. Saints wont have a problem this year 2nd place wil be yours again

I agree with oggy. As big a legend as Murphy is, he doesn't really know what he's talking about these days. Murphy has always had an ego bigger than his reputation.
