Is he at Crusaders next season? I've spent tonight watching the recent internationals again with my cousin who has returned from Afghanistan recently. Jordan James was outstanding against England, standing up to the likes of Morley and Carvell really well and he's literally knocking chunks out of Ireland as we watch it now.

He looks a good 3 or 4 stone bigger than earlier in his career and looks a quality player.

There was a brief thread on the C&W about how much bigger he look these days. Maybe he's just a late bloomer?

most props only hit thier peak around 26/27, and spend the early part of their careers moving round a variety of clubs.

I always thought he was the right size and fairly good player, but I think if he had been "good enough" then he would have been picked up properly by now.

Could be. IIRC he only started playing the game after leaving the Marines. I actually thought he went OK for us at Wigan but he looks to be twice the player now.

Props do deserve a little more grace though, imo.
Remember how good Fozzy was for us after years of being a journeyman.

The difference is that Fozzard's potential was there for many to see. Jordan James could probably do a job at a team like Crusaders, Wakey etc. He is 29 now.
