I find it absolutely deplorable that this has not already been mentioned on here.

Bernard Dwyer and Tommy Martyn were both inducted into Saints Hall Of Fame last week.

Fantastic reward and recognition to 2 great servants to the club.

Having spoke to Tommy and i hope he does'nt mind me repeating this "This is better than winning the Lance Todd Award I am absolutely made up! The amount of great players who have played for Saints over the years and i cant believe i have been chosen!" i replied with amazement "Tommy there is only person in St Helens known as God!"

Really sums Tommy up for what a great and humble bloke he is!

Yes I was made up when I saw it mentioned last week. The problem is I can't for the life of me think were I read about it and saw a photo of it unless it was on the Saints official site. You are right Doogal when you say at Saints there was only one god and boy do we miss him.
