This guy has got bags of talent but would appear to be a fringe player at Saints this year and probably next year too. On the Quins board, we have been discussing who we could replace Orr with and it was mentioned that we could (supposition, not rumour) take this guy on a 1 year loan to give him game time.
Just wondering what your thoughts on this would be?

I wouldn't sniff at the chance to be honest.

Build up his biscuit bones, and let him get used to super league proper, while allowing us to properly phase out between Long and KC.

alas, lat time I looked the guy that matters is called Potter. Seriously, if the pies start sniffing around (or anyone else local for that matter) you may well end up losing him. At Quins he will slip under the radar as Mr Potter puts it

and you would get a better player back.
Still, play him on the wing on Friday by all means

exactly....he isn't getting first grade game time. 12 months in the south would give long his swansong next year and help the young man get up to speed in SL. He's your player and I doubt he would sign for anyone else, but 1 year with Big Mac and playing in a team that are greater then the sum of their parts (at the moment) would do him no harm.....only good. IMO that is.
Go on....he can gcadge a lift back with us on Friday night if you want

In this instance its a surprise that only 2 superleague teams are interested. I wonder which ones it is?

One will be Wigan no doubt. They are interested in everyone thats available at the moment.

Hopefully we're the other interest party, in cahoots with his agent in order to bump up Wigan's offer to mega proportions while we step in and sign Richie Myler instead.

He has been injured for most of the season though.
