Don't you just love high expectations?

It seems some fans need to look for someone to blame for a loss, some can't just admit that we were beaten by the better side on the night but will more than likely bounce back soon.

We are still sitting comfy at the top of the table and we can't expect to win them all as hard as that is to take at times.

We were rubbish. Had they played particularly well then you may have had a point.

We can't be the best every game, we certainly didn't deserve to win but to be calling for players heads after one loss is silly.

Some of the reactions have been extreme, but when they play well they receive praise and when they play badly they deserve criticism. I can't think of one player that covered themselves in glory tonight.

Mind you, Long should have been whipped off that pitch after about 10 minutes tonight. He had a howler of a first 20 and not much better later, which no doubt affected Pryce. Why we didn't see Eastmond scoot on I don't know, but I aint the coach.

We all fell apart tonight but at least it wasn't the tonking it could have been.

I didn't think Roby, Wheeler, Graham, Ashurst or Fa'asavalau (bar that howler dropping the ball) had bad games.

Played OK in the 10 minute spell before half time, but were all anonymous 2nd half.

Could not believe it at the end when the boo boys were out.If you think your crap you need to take a trip to the KC and see how bad it really can get

Look at that again on Sky, you should be praising Menzies rather than criticising Maurie. Awesome run, particularly lucky desperation punch at his arm to dislodge the ball by Menzies.

I will do, and I agree about the run, but he should still have grounded it because he should have had more control of ball, especially seeing as Menzies was hanging off him.

does anyone else think our preperation was seriously hampered by the pryce situation? until thursday afternoon we didnt know who was availiable for our side, i think we should have left pryce out regardless and planned to play without him.

I thought that Potter might have left Pryce out regardless of the outcome simply because there is no way they could have trained together properly. I also wonder whether the announcement from the board about some decision concerning Pryce could have undermined the team spirit at all? Not sure whether that would, but I just wondered. Other than that, there was some shunting of players, probably some complacency and perhaps some tiredness - all no doubt contributors.

Frankly, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. But at least it spices up the matches, and the fans were feisty. (possibly too feisty sometimes!)
