timing would be very strange - why do it now, days before a tough trip to Wakey? They could have done it 7 days ago after the Catalan defeat with only a home banker against Celtic to prepare for.

I dont think he will get sacked all season, who will they replace him with? I keep asking that on their board and the serious posters agree that noone of merit is avaliable.
That said i doubt they will win 1 of Wakey, Saints, Wakey and his position will be under serious threat.

Can they afford to pay him off? I would say he would want a mint to be thrown aside, maybe the rumour of him going back to the dulls and ousting stevie mac is more real, this would mean Nobby just leaves the goons with no money exchanged and slips back into the hot seat at Odsal with stevie mac as his number2 ?
