| It's a good job he doesn't have the same attitude as some of our fans, in that we have won one game comfortably and now were going to go unbeaten and win everything without even trying.

| Our attitude in defence was poor at Castleford.
There was no excuse for them scoring all those trys, and for us to give away soft penalties

That's why he's the coach and you're the fans.

correct, the referee was looking for any excuse to penalise us in the 2nd half and we gave him too many opportunities.
Defensively we have conceeded 4 tries in each of the last 2 games, whereas before that the most we had conceded was 3 - so obviously the intensity in defense has been lost a little.

After a glut of games over Easter and putting themselves in an unassailable position, I don't blame the players for not flogging themselves to death to keep the score to nil.
Tired defence is a fixture of the Easter weekend, one of the reasons it should be scrapped.

Perfect example of the muppet 'holier than thou' attitude we have resident on here.
Saints shouldn't lose at home all season, losing to HKR was bad enough.
We have tough places to go to in which we have to play well, the reality is that if we do, there are very few places where we would lose the game, if any, particularly as we have already proved that we can win at our toughest venue.
We have to play well but the one person suggesting we could do is in no way being outrageous. I suppose we could all sit on the fence and pretend we're playing in a great competition in which all the sides are equal and getting a result anywhere is an achievement. Fortunately, the fans in the real world know that we aren't. We are playing in a comp where Saints shouldn't lose many due to the total lack of quality throughout the Super League. In fact, if Saints play at 80% at most grounds, we'll win. Thats just the reality of the game, not being overtly arrogant as the 'holier than thou' folk pretend.

Have you been to Hull City hall steps yet?
I'd have thought you would have learnt from that!

Nah but the sentiment in the post was correct and not a ridiculous thing to say. HKR hadn't won at Saints in donkeys years and aren't anywhere near the same quality, hence the confident prediction (and I'd predict the same now). Losing at home to HKR was nobodys fault other than our own and it was a poor result. I don't think it would happen now and really do not expect us to lose at home all season.
The only games we need to perform well are in France, Warrington (depending on how they are going), Hull and HKR away and of course Leeds. Realistically we should win at Catalans playing at 80%, similarly HKR and Hull. Leeds and Wire I think we'd need to be at our best but we could win them all.

I do agree with the idea. Without trying to sound arrogant any team that beats Saints home or away will be called a shock result in the following days papers. Thats just how it is.

Correct, the second half we sort of threw in the towel at times. Maybe the heat meant they wanted to chill, or the scoreline made them want to chill, but I am sure any excuse they give isnt good enough for Slick Mick .
22 points from Hull and Cass, whats all that about eh.
