I'd say playing every week until the playoffs would be a bigger drain on us. The players looked shattered on Friday and in need of a rest. If we remain in the cup I can see that sapping our energy levels later on in the year as this competition gets tougher and tougher.

Agree . Leeds are going to be fresh as daisies come the back end of the season.

Saints will need to rotate players to limit burnout

If we reach Wembley its going to be even worse, a 7 week turn around between a Wembey Final and a Grand Final...its a big ask.

Has any team done this double since the Wembley was put back to August. Leeds have obviously tried but can only get as far as a semi.

yes,we did it but the final was at twickenham,not wembley

but our squad is alot smaller now, as they say you cant win anything with kids

Couldn't remember if the Saints/Huddersfield final was in the August date.

Not sure we have the depth of squad to do that? I think ourselves and Leeds could stratech away from the rest of the league and if that occurs then hopefully we can see a good amount of rotation

We have to have faith in our young players. They are in the first team squad for a reason.

Luckily if we're struggling through injuries we also have cap space to bring a player or two in to cover.

most undeserved leaders? i think so. Saints have been no better than the likes of hudds or hull kr. Same old stains, i've got used to it now, play awfull but come away with results - sign of a good team i suppose.

You say no better than KR or Hudds, but thats only because people weren't expected them to be in the top 5 and it's a surprise that they are there.

no its because i believe in the games of which have involved kr or hudds they have looked better than saints
