Certainly out shone Tomkins tonight. He needs to learn not to dive out of the line so much, but this lad is the real deal.

Along with Myler and Tomkins it really does give the English game abit of hope when it comes to our future.

His defence needs a lot of work doing on it, but a lot i feel was down to making wrong decisions, which should come with experience. Attacking wise, he looks very good, good kicking game too.

Rushed out of the line a couple of times which nearly cost us, but that is just bad decision making and is to be expected from a young kid. Handled the pressure well though, which is a good sign.

He obviously has very good qualities in attack, but still some serious doubts about his defence. He likes to rush out for interceptions or to try and get a good shot on an attacker but neither seems to work as yet. He should probably be defending on the wing or at fullback for now, keep him out of the way and let him play his normal attacking game.

Finally we've found a goalkicker !!! Eastmond's kicking game was superb last night, he really turned Wigan around and he was the first chaser following the kick up to make the tackle.

its fantastic looking at some of these players coming through and thinking how balanced it is beginning to look.

to be honest i think eastmond and tomkins would take burrow and mcguires places quite easily! cant eastmond also play fullback?

talent such as ainscough, sam and joel tomkins, eastmond and myler needs to be brought into the england team to see us having any kind of progression!

I think it's about time we gave him a chance at taking the dropouts from under the sticks when he is playing. Wello tries his damndest but can't make the distance.

If he can drop a goal from 40+ yards then surely he can get more distance on his drop-outs than Wello.

I agree, I don't know if any will be in the full England squad for the 4 Nations, although Ainscough probably has the best chance, but all these good kids should be in the England A team to get them the experience and get them playing and training together.
