Heard the Away kits going to be using Purple within the design...

Probably a load of tosh but thought I'd share

Saints kit has grown on me because it is so simple, but at the same time it's boring.

I really wish we just had cherry and white hoops with white shorts.

I've heard peuce and yellow for the away kit. Can anyone confirm?

What's the betting that the sponsor we select out of the five Lenagan is negotiating with is a bigger name than 'Frontline Bathrooms'?

And probably won't go bankrupt either like many of Saints other sponsors...

Frontline are going to be seriously big in bathrooms.

I like the intention of the shirt; minimal and traditional, but I'm not sure it all comes together.

It might not be fashionable to say this, but the sponsor has a big part to play, and personally I would preserve the aesthetic of our shirt. Even to the extent of accepting a lower deal with a company that didn't sell bathrooms, and it's subsequent connotations to toilets - with, as my girlfriend pointed out, a vee pointing towards the groin.

Who is to say for argument's sake, it would make a difference? Shirt sales could be less with a big sponsor deal, then they would be with lesser deal with a less embarrassing company?

Hang on while I think about this for a miniute, would I rather have;

a) a competitive team winning trophies

b) a well known name on the front of our shirts

Why not just use the heritage shirt as our away strip?

Two main reasons I can think of:

1) Having an additional shirt to sell means more money for the club.
2) Its is part of the celebrations of our final season at Knowsley Road and one of the many things the fans suggested would be good to see as part of that.

Could someone mock up the Cas Puma home kit in our colours with our badges and sponsors, just to see?

I like their design an awful lot.
