Saints have confirmed on Twitter that you have to have the swipe card for the event on Friday night as they are testing the system. That's one of the reasons for arranging Friday night (part and parcel of the health and safety ramp up).

Typical saints being amateur in everything they do. If I ain't got my season ticket by in time to go the open training im asking for my money back and they can shove their season ticket.

No, before I bought it I asked when I could pick it up as I wanted to go the open training night. They told me the 1st December but when i saw your post saying that anyone bought it after 10th can't get it until Monday.

I know few people that was told the same as nw and went town but couldn't pick them up. Total waste of time for those people.

The club didn't even post on the website or let anyone know, as per usual they don't give $hit about the fans.

You are totally correct, new stadium but sane pi$$ poor organisation. It looks like the club will continue to be run poor and won't be long before we millions in debt again and asking for another bail out. It's the fans that pay towards the running of the club and if they continue to treat them like crap they will just walk away.

I swear out of prude if my ticket ain't with me in time to attend the open training then I want a refund!

If the shop are doing the posting of season tickets as well as shop collections it could be a long wait.

They shouldn't tell lies and tell you they will be ready on the 1st then tell you they will be following Monday and now sounds like we will be lucky to have them by Friday.

My daughter like me ordered or tickets on-line were if you did that their was a £5.00 postage change ,the lady she spoke to in the store said they would be sending tickets out early next week ,when my daughter asked would she receive it by Friday the lady said couldn't guarantee that the tickets will arrive .This is bad organisation if they know how many tickets need mailing and they were purchased well in advance in our case in oct they at less should arrive though your door on the 1st of dec like those people in the shop who are receiving theirs now. this not the way to treat fans

It's how saints is run. They are complete shambles and have always treated fans like crap.

They got brand new fresh start with the new stadium and bank debt free but it won't be long before we are back in debt.

It's the same with the Widnes game that's being billed as "be part of history" to be at the first game at Langtree park yet they ain't even got proper tickets!

The tickets are plain White crappy looking things, they should have been printed as souvenir tickets that we can keep but no, they have plain White cheap crappy tickets.

The tickets are white because the new set up wasn't ready in time. That was to do with the suppliers, not Saints.

As for posting season tickets, the £5 charge was for recorded delivery, which is next day delivery signed for. Nobody in the world is going to guarantee that Royal Mail will get anything to you, much less by a deadline. Saints would be stupid to say that anything is guaranteed to get to anyone by any time as once those tickets are posted, they are out of Saints' control.

And as for you going to collect yours on Monday, Saints should have posted an update on the website. However, they didn't. But I let you know instead. Whether Saints knew ahead of time that season tickets bought after 10 November would only be delivered on Monday I don't know and nor do you. So far all that Saints can actually, in reality, be criticised for is not updating the website to advise of the hiccups.

And Mike App is fielding questions and problems all over the place just now so I think some slack needs to be given.

Saintsfan, I don't know anything about recorded delivery as Im collecting mine and was told the 1st. Lucky enough you told me but I know people who wasn't lucky enough to know who wasted their time going as nobody told us at the club.

As the other poster has said, he forked out £600 and won't have his tickets for Friday which is shocking as the club enticed Fans to buy before then end of November to see the new stadium for first time.

Add all that to the miserable cow in the shop who served mr when I spent over £500 in the shop and it shows we are still a amateur and still haven't learned thst the fans are important.

That's not what the other poster said. They said that the shop told him/her that they [imay[/i not get the tickets by Friday. They didn't say definitely. The poster needs to wait and see before mouthing off IMO.

Like I said, the club should have updated websites/twitter, etc to advise of the delay for people who bought their tickets after 10 November but that is their only error here.

Well in IMO if the seasons tickets are due out on the 1st of dec that is the day the ticket should drop thou your door we will wait and see if the tickets arrive i am sure there are me more then me and my daughter waiting ? don't forget saintsfan the order for these tickets was placed at the end of oct not after nov 10th so it is not their only error, but the store knowing a event is planned for the 9th dec they are cutting it fine in sending them out .

How do you know that the event on 9 December was organised so far ahead? You don't. From what Saints have said, the date for the STH event was set by the Council as part of the health and safety ramp up. For all we know, and we don't know any differently, when Saints stated that season tickets would be available for pick up (and they did only state pick up, not post out) from 1 December that was under pressure to conform to a date set by the Council or even before the date was known.

I do know that the season tickets only turned up at all on 30 November. Was that the fault of Saints or of the suppliers? We don't know.

I'm simply suggesting that because we don't know all the details, having a go at the club and in such a vociferous manner is unnecessary. YOU try organising the dispatch of 8000+ season tickets in nine days from a tiny little shop with limited staffing for a deadline that you didn't even set and perhaps didn't even know was going to be set at the time the season tickets were first ordered!

Pete, I would suggest that you're having a strop about your season ticket because you delayed in organising its renewal. You said on these very boards that you didn't know whether you were going to renew. I renewed mine on the third forum night. I would have done so on the first forum night but there was a power cut so I couldn't. You could have renewed yours at any time from early August. You chose not to. That was your choice. You can't now blame the club that for reasons unknown to us those tickets purchased after 10 November have been delayed until Monday.

Yes, the club should have posted about the delay as soon as they knew about it. But that is their only error here. And you got to know from me anyway because I chose to post about it on here as soon as I knew. I didn't have to but I did.

And yes, my season ticket is fine. The swipe card is fine, it is the same as the booklet, they are both for the West Stand, which is the stand I chose, and they were both there waiting for me along with my free bag of Typhoo tea. I queued for 1.5 hours and didn't mind doing so one bit because I understood that the place was rammed and everyone was trying their best.

So if you bought it before the end if last month then you should be able to attend. It makes no difference if you bought it in August or November as it was advertised as you could go and also told we could pick them up on the 1st!
