We only need Wellens to get injured for the season, then the Lance, Wilkin and Wellen bashers at the start of the season will be delighted things have worked in there favour.

Not nice to hear anybody need an operation i really hope everything goes well,we have plenty of cover in the back row,as a half don't rate him at all (because he isn't one) he is a bit like marmite like or dislike, i think he is a very average back rower with a massive ego,(my opinion)Walsh and Lomax we will miss.

Hey I was a Lance basher. He deserved it after 2 years of nowt, bar the game against Hull KR last year in the playoffs.

I've always accepted it was a square peg in a round hole as I truely thought the half back concept was a rouse to get him in eventually at FB.

But I have also given him credit this year for taking the number 6 spot for his own. He my prefered option at 6 this year. So people are not fixed in their picking on people. The call it as they see it. After 2 years of not much, I called it as a bad signing. He is playing better and all credit to him for that.

As for Wilkin, I can never decide on that one. Sometimes looks good other times Meh!

If we played Wilkin regularly as a proper 13 with 2 quality halfbacks at 6 & 7 I think he'd show what he's worth. I doubt that will ever happen though

Wello is too selfish to ever get injured. He'd be worried he'd miss out on something he's not earned...
