Heard the name - I think it was used a lot amongst the wire fans when they were supposed to be making an offer for Bateman (ie Why pay for one back row prospect when we've got another excellent one?).

It's just a shame that Stevie Ward decided not to go on tour. A back row of Currie, Bateman and Ward would have been superb for England. That's not too say that the likes of Baldwinson, Farrell etc will let the side down, but they don't have Wards big game experience.

Bateman is more you classic loose forward, sublime passing game. See last year's Academy v AIS for reference. His passing game was breathtaking. Unfortunately, Bradford are using him as a battering ram.

Currie is a very fast backrower, he has a decent passing game, but not on the same level as Bateman.

How good are Wilde and Percival? First team prospects or just more sparrow legged mutants like Ian Hardman?

I like the looks of Percival, not sure about Wilde as I haven't noticed him in the few games I have seen him play.

I think Wilde, who played centre in one of the games the other week, is the bigger of the two.
Of the clips i've seen, percival does look quite classy.
