Beaumont seems to be built similar to Hock. Runs it in well and defends with a lot of aggression. But he looked like bambi at times, unsure what he should be doing and late to react to everything and late getting back into the line. He seemed to play about 20 minutes and they go off with cramp at the end, if it was him.

Carlile seems a shorter version of Howarth, offers nothing that I can see being beneficial to us.

Beaumonts game time considering his age is shocking. Not a player I would have associated with St Helens.

1st visit to Langtree pk yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the night. Thought we showed some flair and ambition 1st half, defended as a team and even saw the game out well in the latter parts. Must admit I never thought we'd have it so easy tho. Never seen a saints team offer so little threat, look so apathetic and clueless.
Having beaten you twice this year I thought a lot of that was down to the injury situation but u actually played worse lsst night than the games at CP.

You'd done your home work on us. Those little kicks thru in the first 20 mins resulted in you scoring points. You utilised our lack of pace and mobility with them kicks and it basically have you the points but you run harder, tackled harder and was more clever with the ball.

Eden has bee v good for the last 3 games, mom in cats and will have been close last night. He will have head farts at times but is exciting to watch and offers a lot in attack.

God help Eamon he has enough on his plate at present. I think he may look to throw his hand in when he returns.
