Aye good luck to them although I don't rate Farrell, Williams, Joe Burgess, Tierney, Hampshire or Sutton.

Not sure about Tierney myself, but if he turns out to be anywhere near as good as his dad he'll prove us both wrong.

He's got arrogance in spades. Seen him back heel kicks over playing for Orrell St. James. He has got the potential to be as good as Jason but he'll have to curb the arrogance a bit.

Williams and Burgess are the stand outs this season from the Wigan contingent.

Some very good kids in this squad, pity Ward isn't going as a back row of him Currie and Bateman would be fantastic at U18 level.

Both good prospects but I think Hampshire is an even better one.
Jason Emery has highlighted the duel between Hampshire and Mitchell Moses as big test of those two players.

What's Dom Speakman like? Obviously he can't be bad if he's in the squad, but can anyone shed any light on waht sort of player he is?
Given the pedigree the last two hookers we've produced, it would be interesting to know more about the next one on the line.

I think Speakman has only just switched to hooker this year, he was always a five-eighth as far as I know and he was playing there on last years tour to oz with Saints

U18.
But a lot of the lads are a year younger. Five of the six Wigan lads are first year academy (16 - 17) year olds.

Percival is another Nick Redyoff.

He is, but I think he is/was injured, and maybe they have decided to give him a bit more time before playing him. England have another game on Saturday so he may get his chance in that one.

Yes i spoke to Percival today and he said he is definitely playing on saturday v Parramatta, that will be his first game in six weeks.

Is he as good as implied? (at junior level please, not predictions of SL stardom)
