I'd agree but if you also factor in Wellens age even if he does have a good/solid season for us I think it's pretty obvious his best days are behind him now where hopefully Lomax has a very bright future. I'd be more inclined to keep Wello if we could use him elsewhere in the team but I just cant see him improving any other position in the team. He is far too slow for halfback or outside backs , we have more hookers than we know what to do with and his lack of acceleration would mean he's just be a distributer and way too 1 dimentional and I really honestly dont think he'd offer anything we dont already have in abundance in the back row
