No it wasnt, and actually there is no way I could get time off for a mate.
I would have to take a days holiday if they would allow it.
When my mother in law was rushed to hospital i phoned my area manager if i could go home to mind my kids whilst the wife went to the hospital.
The answer was, she could go when id finished my last two jobs.
