Born in Australia but played internationally for South Africa and Scotland. Was previously an outside back with Castleford, Oldham, Doncaster, Widnes, Halifax, Huddersfield and in France. More than half his games in England were with Halifax.

Was previously a professional referee in another sport whose name I can't bring myself to type, but has since seen the light. Previously was touch judge in the home game against Oldham in 2014. Also refereed the easy Oxford victory in the 2015 Varsity match.
Reserve Referee: Liam Rush (Dewsbury and Batley)
Now I often describe officials as young, but in this case it's not just me showing my age as he is 16. Joint Yorkshire Junior Referee of the Year and is the Junior Referee of the Year in the Dewsbury and Batley society. Has appeared at the schools final at Wembley for the last two years.
