Oldham beat ORL to clinch top spot in League 1
Oldham are 80 minutes away from securing promotion to the Championship after a 76-18 win at Oxford in their last match of the regular season clinched top spot in League 1. Josh Crowley, Will Hope, Phil Joy and Adam Files all scored two tries apiece for the Roughyeds, with others coming from Jon Ford, Kenny Hughes, Tom Dempsey, Jack Hughes and Elliott Liku, while Steve Roper kicked 12 goals. Luke Gardiner and Louis Richards scored tries for ORL, whose 15th defeat of the season confirmed a 10th-place finish.
