Stuart Littler scored five tries as Swinton Lions bet ORL 84-16 to move up to second in League 1.
The Lions racked up 96 points against ORL in the reverse fixture in July and they were on their way to another huge score after storming into a 42-4 lead, Littler crossing four times, Chris Atkin twice and Ben White and Ian Mort once apiece. Little made it five after Ben Austin had opened Swinton's second-half account, but Thomas Davies added to Steve Scott's earlier try to make it 54-10 with 20 minutes to go. Normal service quickly resumed, though, and the Lions finished with 15 tries as Grant Beecham (two), Chris Rothwell, Josh Barlow and Shaun Robinson all crossed in the latter stages, with Atkin adding the extras on each occasion to take his tally to 12 goals. ORL had the last word through Nathan Kitson's last-minute try but it was little consolation on another tough afternoon against Swinton.
