I know Mark always uses the official RFL figure to ensure consistency but where on earth did they get that figure from? An ORL tweet clearly stated an official attendance of 97.

I predict a gate of 12,957 on Saturday. Officially at least. Or 129 as All Golds will have declared it.

I believe it was a mischievous journalist. I was told 97. Hence the tweet. I would have announced it but I was a bit busy...

More seriously, surely the RFL should be taking official gates from the match data submitted by the home team and not journalists.
