As ever it depends on who plays. They link up with Hunslet. They seemed to tire badly in the cup game and people who saw them on Sunday say similar about that game. If so the fast play the ball the Bradford lads brought could be effective. I'm guessing the team probably trained last weekend so they should know a bit more about their team mates etc. I'm hoping for a win this time.

Two of the Bradford lads are on a month loan so should still be around. One is DR so may or may not be. May be a new face or two as well if the link you posted is correct. I suspect Hemel will be better than they were at their gaff so we need to play as v York not Leigh, Coventry and Hemel in the cup.

Winnable and a big game in terms of the season. It won't be a shock if we have two mini leagues. The northern teams up top and then the rest. We've put ourselves a little on the back foot in that group with the Coventry result and need to look to win all our home games against the non heartlands teams. Do that, pick up a few points away and pull out one or two shocks v a northern team and, on the pitch at least, that's a decent season.

You've got 4 players from Bradford, Matty Blythe has joined you guys on dual reg like Petersen.

A couple more new names appear in the online proggie. One way or another there's a pretty big restructure going on. Sadly the early performances meant it was necessary.

Think this will be close, but high scoring for both sides. I'm saying Oxford by 8.

That's exactly what I came on here to post! Interesting also that the programme does not mention Ian Clark at all.


Some information about the three known new players:

Matty Blythe - second row. Has a little Super League experience at Warrington, as well as for Bradford last season. Also played for Leigh on loan. Just back from injury so I doubt if we will see him too many times before he gets into the Bradford squad.

Mark Barlow - wing, half-back or hooker from All Golds. Previous clubs Wakefield (including one Super League appearance), Dewsbury, Halifax, Batley, York.

Danny Thomas - scrum half. Was with All Golds last season playing almost every game, but left at the end of the year to become coach of Bradford Dudley Hill (the club that Nathan Kitson came from). Not sure if he's combining both rules. Has also played for Jamaica.
