| Someone beatable at home please. Alternatively Bradford or London at home as an ex SL team should be easiest to promote and hopefully drag a few first timers down. The ones to avoid must be Cumbrian teams or Newcastle either home or away as the travel costs would chomp into the gate takings.

| As part of the challenge cup you have to split the gate takings and pay the oppositions travel costs. Fev, Bradford or London would be nice.
It's a shame they've restructured the entry rounds where various divisions come in. In previous years win one game and you could have faced a SL side.

| Think both sides will view that as a pretty good draw. I saw Wath Brow in the First Round, given they'd had a huge journey and were out of season they were impressive. They and LMR are a very similar standard on paper. This will be a tough old game and they have to be treated with respect. Given our coaches background I can't see us taking them lightly.
It will be interesting to see if it is played at Twist Lane or whether they look to move it to the main stadium. If I was them I'd be keen to play this at home.
Incase anyone isn't aware, their normal home match day is Saturday

| Posters on another forum are suggesting this won't play at Twist Lane due to the location of the dug outs possibly hindering the 4th official. Hope this is wrong for their sake as hiring a ground won't be cheap.

| Leigh v London is Friday at 20.00 so it certainly won't be a double header as a few had hoped.

They let Wath Brow play at home against Newcastle and the dugouts there are on opposite sides of the pitch so can't see that as being the reason. However, there is a canal down one side preventing kicks to touch being taken on that side and there is also limited space for spectators down that side. There is also (or wasn't last time I was there) no crowd barrier behid the posts at the town end of the ground.

| The Army play Challenge Cup games a ground where it is generally agreed you don't kick to touch on one side as the ball disappears into a military secure area.
It certainly looks like Twist Lane hasn't been approved yet as the match is listed as Saturday 21st at 14.00 but no venue is listed. Leigh Miners Rangers were at home in the last round so I guess it may come down to how many people they expect to show up as to where it plays.

| Just to flag up that the date still seems to be in doubt whatever the Challenge Cup site says. An Oxford official has told Mark Saturday is not confirmed.

| Apparrently ORLFC have objected to playing the game at Twist Lane and the RFL have upheld their objections. Game will now be played at LSV Stadium on Saturday.
