Tickets
Tickets will be available to purchase on the day, however, buying in advance will save you £2. Tickets purchased in advance are priced at £10 adults, £5 juniors and £5 concessions, whereas tickets purchased at the turnstiles are priced at £12 adults, £7 juniors and £7 concessions. Supporters can purchase tickets in advance by calling 0191 214 5587.

The stadium lends its name to a nearby station on the Tyne and Wear Metro which links the venue to all major towns and cities across Tyne & Wear, including Newcastle, Sunderland, the coast and Newcastle International Airport.

The following buses operate to and from Neilson Road/Old Fold Road bus stop, which will drop you off right outside the ground:
From Gateshead Interchange: Service 93 (every 15 mins)
Heworth Interchange: Service 94 (every 15 mins)

By Rail
It is really easy to get to Gateshead Thunder via one of many railway routes. The two main stations you can use are NEWCASTLE CENTRAL STATION for mainline stations or HEWORTH STATION for regional rail routes.
NEWCASTLE CENTRAL STATION
The main railway station for the area, it too has great links to get you just across the river to Gateshead. It also has it's own Metro station which is only 2 stops from Gateshead Stadium Metro station.

HEWORTH STATION
Heworth Station is managed by Northern Rail and has fantastic links across the North East coast and Cumbria, as it sits on the main Carlisle to Middlesbrough line. As well as the rail line, Heworth Station is part of the larger Heworth Interchange, which consists of Heworth Metro station (which is also only 2 stops away from Gateshead Stadium Metro Station) and a bus interchange. This interchange provides connections from the Tyne and Wear Metro to Washington, Sunderland and South Tyneside as well as other areas of Gateshead.
