Difficult to say without knowing whether the coaches will play everyone or go with the first 13 etc. Have to say Skolars look a little stronger as a probable 13 to me. A couple of big losses (James Antony and Dylan Skee) but some good signings too.
TBH I think the key thing this season is to start turning from a team to a club. Some promising signs on that front, that's the key for me. A competitive team on field to keep any new fans entertained will keep me happy.
Very good match on a 3/4G pitch (i am likeing these 3/4G pitch more and more) Skolars had two young Widnes players and did not have 1st teams player in the squad. ORL had a totally southern based team with the northern based players coming in for the first league game, against London Skolars on 2nd March.
It was great to see ORL play and am looking forward to 2014.
A very big thank-you to Maidenhead RFC nice little ground and great club house, Me and my kids had a great day of rugby watching two matches one RU & one RL
