| Just found the 88 3rd test video on a certain video sharing site.
That's my favourite memory of our international side.
Anyone else???

Them along with the 26-12 win in 1988. I remember getting up at 4 in the morning to watch it.
Perhaps the most heartbreaking moment was our 10-14 defeat in the second test in 1990. Meninga's winning try in the last minute should never have been given IMO.

I was at all those games but the Melbourne game still remains my favourite game as an RL fan.

Great game, great memory.

| I remember the World cup pool, game at Wembley (I think 95?). Only time I've been actually in the ground when we beat Australia (and I've been a few times). I was sitting outside a pub after the match near the ground and joined in a rousing chorus of "stick your surfboard up your a***". It was all good humoured and we shared few beers with the Aussie fans. I think they knew they'd have the last laugh as always.
I was at Old Trafford in '86, Joe Lydon's fantastic try was worth the admission.
I remember calling Greg McCallum a "bearded c***" during a GB/NZ game at Wigan. Three very large guys with beards sat infront of me turned around very unimpressed, and I promptly browned my trousers.

The Old Trafford game was my first live game of League (my old man had a spare ticket after a mate dropped out). My second was Elland Road ...
...(with the notable exception of 1999) I then endured 14 years of Leeds failure - until the last couple of years I honestly thought I was cursed (especially since I also support Leeds United)
Can someone refresh my memory, was it in that game that Ricky Stuart pulled off the worlds most outrageous dummy (I think he even released the ball).
Meanwhile back OT - Melbourne 92 and Jiffy's Wembley try in '94(?).
Question for those with better memories - was it in the pre-match warm up in 94 that a certain Harris lad scored a cracking try against the Aussie schoolboys?

I don't know - but I do know that some of the Aussie "schoolboy" sides that I've seen would tend to suggest that some of their members get kept down a class at school, maybe for several years, a decade in some cases.

You do have to bare in mind that these third world countries don't always have accurate birth records so it can be hard to establish the actual DoB of their players

That was 784 years before my time so can't remember that one.
