The kids market is usually the stuff I watch, as you can imagine and probably already know. But there isn't any films that are mainly for adults these days and everything is going to be 3D at the flicks soon to, which means more monsters, aliens & robot zombies jumping in your face.

Red Dragon with Ed Norton and Ant Hopkins? I watched alot of that if that's the same film I'm thinking of? Why didn't I watch it all? I can't remember.

Seems to be the way that the mainstream film venues are going, I suppose anyone over the age of 30 sees them for what they are - a rip-off opportunity on their wallet, a chance to share a room with a lot of people you'd normally go out of your way to avoid, with the only upside being that you can often get your hair highlights done for free at Kirkstall.

I watched The Firm earlier. Wish I didn't. Thought it would be different to the usual hooligan rubbish because it was set in the 80s. It wasn't. It was The Business mixed with Football Factory. I think Love can only do gangsta and hooligan films. Sharn't be bothering with anymore of his.

Watch the original version. It's got proper actors and loads of familiar UK TV faces, giving it lots 'Oh, it's that bloke!' value.

Still a right load of tosh in regard to how realistic it is though.

Every British film made between 1946 and 1980 had to have Sam Kydd in it, it was the law, sometimes he'd be just walking across the street in the background, usually dressed as a milkman, but he HAD to be in every film, EVERY film - look out for him, he's there.

There's a film out called "Chavs with Machetes". It's about a bunch of losers with big knives who think they're all in Braveheart (a film about drunken tartan chavs with swords fighting for their buss fare home). In the end they don't grow up, don't get jobs, don't have lives, and end up with liver cancer from too much Hoffmeister. Quite heartwarming really.

I have seen this film. It lacks realistic character development. If the director had given the actors more license to express the intrinsic inner turmoil brought about by machete based conflict on a Saturday teatime, I feel it would have resonated with a wider audience.
Either that, or they should have shipped crack with every DVD. That would have worked also.
