Rohan has every chance of succeeding. We are rock bottom and we will automatically see some improvement as our best players return from injury. Our expectations are also at rock bottom and think most of us will be patient and just look for small improvements each season. Could be 4-5 years before we’re challenging again, but I think if we get some stability with Rohan we’ll get there in the end…..

Certainly a more interesting appointment than a McNamara, a Radford or a Wane. I get the impression he has more ambition than merely steadying the ship, making us competitive or winning the arm wrestle.

Why does it need to be 4 or 5 years? We can challenge next season if current players are made better, young players developed and the right recruitment made. People seem obsessed with making it into a massive big project thing. We'd have been challenging a few years back if we just made smart decisions.

A club with the resources of Leeds should able to be turned around in 2 years max. Cleaning up the contracts and salary cap will take longest, and that’s entirely self inflicted.

We’ll maybe your right. I just look at our squad and it’s like an amateur team compared to Saints Roster. That big a gap!

Don`t forget next year will be our 7th year of rebuilding and like others have said that should not be acceptable to a club like Leeds.
Some serious mis management has gone on here with coaching and player recruitment.
But we will go again to year 7 and see what happens.

Knowing what needs to happen ,but not doing it. Signing players that aren't good enough,losing players that were.

Agree Chapylad. The recruitment has been beyond woeful. But in mitigation let's not forget we have rebuilt the stadium which is easily the best in RL. Plus there has been a pandemic.

Here's thought...perhaps the crucial mistake was putting Sinfield - a bloke with zero admin or organisational development experience - in such and crucial role so early in his post playing career.

I don't think we're that far off squad wise. With the number of out of contract players atvthe end of season, it gives us some room to add some more quality. The biggest thing for me has been how poorly coached we look. No structure in attack, shocking discipline. These are things that can be improved over the course of this year and next season. We haven't had much luck with injuries, but you tend not to when you're playing poorly and getting battered in attack and defence

This team can definitely play better than it has.
A new coach and getting players back from injury and suspension will help but we have to stop picking up stupid bans.

Start of the year, the majority on here were talking up our chances of top 4 and putting in some good performances. After the Warrington game, that was still the feeling but it all came crashing down. Saints saw it when Holbrook took over and took the players to another level. A few high quality signings to replace our plodders, more structure and better coaching, and it would be a big transformation

Holbrook brought Barber on and that’s when the changes a accelerated. We’ll Zak be our catalyst?

Yeah, they were lucky to be able to get a player like him at the time. But it shows the difference a quality signing can make under the right coach. Hopefully Rohan can use the rest of this season to ID who he needs. Quality over quantity
