The high matience of the guy wore thin a while ago. Be interesting to see how long he goes in Aus before the first 'incident' that his club has to fire fight and when and which SL club he returns to when it doesn't work out over there for him.

Not excusing him but it must be hard to continue motivating yourself in a shiite team when you have already been at the dizzy heights of winning all the domestic trophies.

From a non selfish perspective I would love to see how he goes as England RU's centre (instead of them stupidly trying to convert a bloody good RL forward)....or in the NRL of course..

Yes, he was always just one more brain fart away from the club being forced to punt him anyway so any fee we can get for him would be a bonus. I think he has the talent to go well if he knuckles down in the NRL but i don't think he has the mentality.He will be back at another SL club for the 2018 season imo.

Good luck to him, can't blame him for wanting to test himself in the NRL. Don't think he'll struggle to find a club, Parramatta wanted Gareth Hock not too long ago! Regardless of what's happened off the field he's been a dam good player for Leeds, don't let this season shadow that.

Yep plenty of different rumours floating around but nothing concrete that I've heard yet.

Surely we all work with someone who is good at their job, but is also an egotistical loudmouth? All good when your department is getting results, but it wears thin after a while. Especially when the performance of said department / company drops. You can let it slide for so long before the eventual result is a mutual split.

Thinking about which NRL clubs could be in the market for Hardaker - Newcastle, Gold Coast, Canberra - the one that sticks out is Souths with Inglis moving to stand-off recently. Maguire could be just the coach to suit Hardaker too.

In return it would be great if we could get Luke Keary - on the outer at Souths because he's too off-the-cuff for Maguire, but what a brilliant half-back he could be over here.

Fair enough if he wants to go to NRL but hope we can include first option to resign if he comes bac!

Rumour on the hull board is that Ryan Hall is involved somehow.

With hardaker being a big miscreant and all, the nrl should be a good fit, right? They're mental over there, match fixing, drug scandals....raping dogs.

Why would anyone from hull know? they have more important matters to attend to, like challenging for a treble and playing well.

no player is ever bigger than any club and zak will be replaced in due course,just as any other players that should wish to leave for new careers will be,irrespective of who they are

The end of the world is exactly what this season is shaping up to be. Hall and Watkins leaving would be the finishing touch to BMD's legacy which is looking more and more like the sporting equivalent of the book of Revelations.

Yeah one that's doing the rounds that Hall shot down on Twitter as nonsense was that he got Hardaker's bird pregnant.
