Hetherington wanted McClennan out at the end of the 2010 season sadly for GH McClennan's contract allowed him a further year.

GH decided he would bring McD in to completely undermine McClennan and to ensure maximum embarrassment he resigned a whole host of aged players. GH thought the fans would sign up like lap dogs, McD would be protected and the cash would keep coming and the only loser would be McClennan.

Sadly GH underestimated McClennan saw through the plan and left; the fans also saw the squad and thought not spending my hard earned to watch that. Now GH has a coach who he thought would be under the radar in the spotlight and a significantly reduced revenue stream
