I know of another, but thought it was from next season. Infact can't see any of them leaving before seasons out.

If they do, then that's Wakefield effectively giving up on staying in SL and I can't see that happening.

| For once I agree with glider.
It would be sheer ludicrous to allow 3 key players leave at this point with the position they're in, even if it was financially driven I very much doubt the value they'd receive for those players would total the income received by staying in SL.

| Apparently, the players were told if they didn't want to be at the club then they could leave. L Peea took them up on the offer, as did a few others so I wouldn't be surprised if they left mid season.
Would anyone here sign any of them? Simon, Dan Smith? Kirke

If they do that they won't be able to put a team out. Judging by some of the performances - the second half against Leigh for example - none of them looked like they wanted to be there!
Godinet would be a cracking signing for Saints. Imagine him zipping out of acting half late in games off the back of Walmsley, Amor and Masoe.

| Well, now we can legitimately talk about this
I'd rest at least one of JP and Cuthbertson, perhaps both. Hardaker if he's injured shouldn't play so I'd keep Handly on the wing. He made a couple of shocking decisions but he'll learn from them as he gains experience and improve his composure, I'm not sure he's a winger long term though, I reckon he'll probably end up in the centres.
I'd give Robbie Ward some game time and see how he goes off the bench in place of Burrow as well, but I doubt we'll see any changes unless they're forced through injury.

| Sadly, I think you're right.
Barring injuries, it'll be the same 17 getting flogged again.

| After the loss today we need every point going forward. I'll be disappointed if burrow is include next weekend. Hardaker injury could prove pivotal for us.

Sadly i agree....on all points.
The coach seems to be making the same mistakes as last season in not properly using his rotation forwards from the bench. Let's hope it's not a similar drop off to last season.

| I'm worried about cuthbertson. He looks a shadow of the player he was at the start of the season. Is he shattered, or have people worked him out? He'd be first on my rest list. Why is singleton getting so few minutes too?

For me it's a familiar story. The coach likes to flog his 'favourite' forwards to death while under utilising others. Fingers crossed it's not a repeat of last season although of course another CC win would be a fitting end to some careers.

| Another of the backs likely to be missing. Moon has been charged by the disciplinary Grade C with no EGP.

| Can't remember what that Moon thing was even for tbh.
Golding
Handley
Watkins
Keinhorst
Hall
Sutcliffe
McGuire
Singleton
Aiton
JJB
Ward
Ablett
Sinfield
Burrow
Achurch
Peacock/Cuthbertson/Delaney
Leuluai/Mulhern
Should be enough against Wakey at least.

In that case Watkins to 1, Ablett centre, Delaney or Archurch to start.

Nah we were disappointing as the match wore on on Saturday but we had a good spell in that first half and hell that's all we'll need to beat Wakey....a 20 minute spell when we run in 4/5 tries. Worst case scenario they give us a game for 40 mins but like their Magic game and their lost to Leigh, they're well off being an 80 minute performance side and they'd need to be if they're to beat us this week even though we aren't at our best lately.

| Can't see Sinfield playing 13 and the side with effectively four pivots. If we had props and back rowers who were capable of doing big, effective minutes maybe, but we haven't. Needs a big body at 13 to take some of the work off Peacock and Cuthbertson.
So it's either Sinfield or Sutcliffe at 6, but not both in the starting line-up unless McGuire misses out.
Mulhern missed out for Hunslet last weekend with a sternum injury, so not sure whether he'd be fit for Sunday. Likewise Robbie Ward.

| Wakey have a new mgr now. This is a potential banana skin of a game. They nearly beat Wigan not so long ago, they have to beat someone soon. Hopefully not us.

Smith doesn't start there until next week though. Will still be Stuart Dickens in charge for this one.

| Be interesting to see who does play fullback, assuming Golding is injured too and Moon odds on to be banned which I think leaves us in a position where Watkins would be pretty certain to remain in the centres, is there a possibility that we will see sutcliffe play there? He had a stint there against wakey last season when BJB went off after that lengthy on field treatment, he didn't do too badly either from what I recall against at that time was a slightly stronger wakefield outfit.

He wasn't training on thursday but obviously that'll be over a week before the Wakey game so he might be available.
I'd go with:
1. Golding/Watkins
2. Handley
3. Watkins/Keinhorst/Ablett
4. Moon/Keinhorst/Ablett
5. Hall
6. Sutcliffe
7. McGuire
8. Singleton
9. Aiton
10. Peacock
11. Ward
12. Delaney
13. Ablett/Sinfield
14. Burrow
15. Mulhern/Yates
16. Achurch
17. JJB
