Wolves have now also signed Kyle Amor on a short term loan deal until the end of the season too
Amor was just a young kid in 2009 when we initially signed him and he was also well down the pecking order whilst he was at the club
I'd have taken him on a similar loan deal, Although Warrington have probably offered him silly money just to keep Daryll happy

| He's presumably living St Helens way. It'd be tough to persuade him to commute to Leeds to play for a team fighting relegation when he could play for a similar status team much closer to home.

| How old is Kasiano?
He is the type of player that would go well for us just like Paasi at Saints.
Warrington signing more props than a theatre production.

We may need a 2nd choice given priors apparent demise and possible retirement.

Has there actually been any speculation about Prior retiring other than on this site?

| We need to sign at least 2 props for next season, possibly 3 if both Thompson and Prior leave, and even 4 if we also lose Tetevano.
We cannot run with any less than 6 genuine props in a squad, 4 on match days.

And then there’s the next to useless go forward of Tetevano. God help us if our one actual ‘proper’ prop, Oledski (Holroyd yet to prove his body can withstand the rigours of a full season…but time on his side still) were to get a long term injury

I don't know, he just doesn't look likes he's much left in him, certainly not to be starting prop.

Definitely not been the player he was. He needs to be part of proper four prop rotation and then we might get a bit more out of him. So galling that Holroyd is likely getting a big ban. Anyway if Prior is going back we better get cracking with recruitment. Wire have already sorted three out, and good props come at a premium. Feels like we've been left in the blocks.

| To be fair Powell's had half a season to look at his team and take a view. Our previous coach didn't believe in props. Smith may well come to the same view but we're starting way behind for sure.

I don't think it takes much to come to the conclusion we're very light in that area, he has watched the videos too. If he wasnt aware already I'd be very concerned about his coaching credentials. The warrington fans have been bemoaning their lack of props since preseason too, Powell hasn't just now come to the same conclusion either I'm sure he's known if for a long time.

| We might not have the cap space to bring in a loan player - we've just brought Hardaker in remember.
Warrington had to release a Prop to bring in Amor

Sinfield gets away very lightly in terms of criticism for the recruitment of this squad IMO.

| We urgently need to prioritise signing a metre munching prop for next season.
IMO it doesn't have to be a marquee signing either as there are plenty of talented props in the lower grades of the NRL
We have recently signed Marquee players from the NRL in Trent Merrin and Zane Tetevano and it would be hard to disagree that they both haven't lived up to their expectations during their time at the club.
Kylie Leuluai was one of our shrewdest ever signings from the NRL and who also went on to give us great service over his many seasons at the club despite not being a household name from the NRL when he was signed.
He only made around 80 NRL appearances between 1999 and 2006 before joining us.
Chris Satae at Hull FC is another example of the talent available in the lower grades of the NRL despite only playing less than 20 NRL games.
Hopefully Rohan Smith's inside knowledge of the lower grades of the NRL will prove beneficial in the club signing the right player(s)

| So far we know of Mellor, Broadbent, Dwyer leaving, likely that Briscoe, Thompson, Mustapha join that list with O’Connor, Austin, Hardaker, Johnson stay.

I agree with this and wouldn’t be surprised to see him utilise that knowledge.
