Pink and steel kit = FAIL.

Horrible kit.

Even the lumo green effort is better.

As we were the ones to change kit only 2 years ago v same opposition, surely it should have been wire's turn to change. However the prospect of Dennis the Menace fancy dress en mass might have been too much to take.

I believe these things are done by a coin toss but it is indeed fortuitous that Wire's pyjama nightmare is not unleashed on the biggest stage. As the pink kits are big sellers there is definitely a likely merchandising upside to Leeds which is good for Mr H.

I agree, the club should not seek to make any commercial revenue from their success by selling items for which fans are very willing to pay good money for.

It would have been nice to get the opening score but it appeared 'our Ryan' decided it would be preferable to steamroller an ex-teammate out of the way instead.

It's true to say that in 11 of his 13 try-scoring performances Leeds have gone on to win. All the more reason to puzzle why he chose not to add a Challenge Cup Final at Wembley to his positive list.

OK - Warrington chairman Steven Broomhead made the call live on television, but you are not telling me Smith did not have his two pennies worth. - At the end of the day this picked to lowest time and ignored the team on form at the time, and we all know the rest.

Fact is Smith publically blanked the announcement and outwardly played no part in the proceedings. While four CEO/Chairmen and three 1st grade coaches were there at the media event Smith was noticable only by his absence.
