You cant be called sucessfull until you have archieved it over a number years.Which in SL era Leeds have along with Saints.At Wire its what Smith is building towards which is oveous to any Rugby league fan.The CC win was just the first stepping stone on that path to us becoming a sucess.

Hull FC never built on what they had player or coach wise.

It would depend on the coach who came in but Smith was the first proven winner as a coach we have had since I have been a fan (1997) we had been crying out for a guy like him for years.

The guy who comes into our work selling stationary is a Wire fan. When Smith took over I told him you'd win SL within 2 years. A bit ambitious but I could get away with saying two full years which would take in next year too.

Even if he doesnt he's still turned your team round (he's won a trophy anyway) and to think that some fekwits on here didnt rate the guy. Absolutely unbelievable.

The guy is class.

If he didn't come last year we would be in 7th or 8th unless they got someone else with the same proven record, he's got the best out of players and got guys like Mona's not only playing well and enjoying there rugby but signing longer deals as well.

Not sure on going back to being Turd. Smith is building a good side that is mixed with experience and youth. We also have a local Chairman willing to put his hand in his pocket to support the manager and I'm sure that would continue. What others have said and in part I agree is that Smith turned you into a great side and Stevo's twin brother from Australia is carrying on the flow. I agree you are a great side and am looking forward to two teams playing attacking rugby. Defence will be crucial today.

It is yes. We could feasibly still win but it will be tough.

Webb, Burrow, Leuluai, Lauitiiti and Diskin are key players

The fact is if Wire had 7 players missing it's not like you wouldn't say it would affect you. One of our half backs, our leading props, our probably best game-breaker are all missing. They maybe are not the 'key' players in the squad but all play a very important role in the team, and without them, against a very good opposition, your obviously going to get hurt by it.

Take no notice of Ear of the Biff.....he is always looking for any opportunity to have a pop at Buderus, because he thinks the man has been audacious enough to come along and recently play far better (showing considerably more skills.... even if no longer in his 'pomp') than one of his heroes, Diskin.
