With regards to Sunday's game, there is nothing subconscious about it is there?
I'm saying I agree with the bookies prediction that Leeds are the underdogs going in (no Webb, Burrow, Leuluai, Lauitiiti, Diskin, Burgess) and anything but a Warrington win would be a surprise result.
Could Tony Smith finally be about to coach a SL side to a victory against Leeds?
No pressure like.

Funny that, I remember our previous 2 coaches (Lowes and Cullen) able to achieve this Everest like feat.

No problem, only just passed it myself, currently on the 'text speak' seminar but i iz not dat gud at it yet.
Fact is there is no point looking in the past, you win the league and then a new one starts and you are only ever as good as you last, it's nice to always look back with fond memories of which Leeds have plenty of late.
The fact is though whether we like it or not, currently, Wigan are the best team in SL, no one can logically dispute that. Therfore it's easy to see why they are blowing smoke up their own backside.
Wire, well we have been underachieving for years so it is understanable some people are getting 'excited'.
I'd like tothink my opinion is quite grounded, i want us to smash you all over the park, they are my team after all but do i think they will ? Of course i don't, in fact taking your form (similar to ours) i think it will be very tight.
Even beyond this game i still think it will be tight for both of us.

That's great news for Tony Smith, perhaps he should ask them for advice.
Which previous Warrington coach will he ask when facing St Helens next? Has Smith still got Steve Anderson's phone number.

| 32 - 18 to Wire unless we try and play the game in the backs and move the ball about to tire their big pack out in the blistering sunshine.
If we do that we will edge it IMO.

Run of the mill league games? If you are suggesting 27 rounds of superleague consistutes 'run of the mill games' then you are surely missing the point of the playoff system. Is it not these 'run of the mill' games that dictates the contenders for the title after 27 rounds? If you look at it that way, we've only lost to Wigan, Saints and Leeds in run of the mill games.
Lets see what happens at playoff time eh and hope the Crusaders dont make it through for your benefit.

Another Wire fan getting above his station.
You've won nothing of note yet. Don't even try telling us about your CC win as that would be laughable.

Wasn't even going to bring it up. Unlike other wire fans I wont keep going it over and over. Yes we won, yes it was a huge step for the club but ultimately it was last year and we'll see if we can get back to back wins this time round.
However, I do like to focus on whats happening now and one of your fellow supporters likes to remind us of our recent 14 years of mediocrity. Again, I accept that but lets move on.
Fact is we are in a much better position this year than we ever have and i dont mean in the league ladder. We are consistant and are able to grind out wins....something leeds has been able to do year on year recently (was it last season when donald scored a last minute try and sinfield scored a touchline conversion to break our hearts?) We are able to play badly but still win which bodes well for us for the future.
We strive to achieve what Leeds has in the last few years, what Saints has in the last 15 and Wigan before that. I'm not predicting a Wire league win but I am predicting coming times of regular Warrington contention for both cups.

I doubt that point is lost on many Leeds fans. I'd be less sure Warrington fans (past coaches and players) would appreciate it though.

75% correct I suppose. That's pretty good, certainly a long way above Warrington's SL average prior to this campaign.
