Should we have brought back Garreth Carvell while he was a kinda free agent for a day or so ? I'm sure he could have been persuaded . He was supposed to be either going to NRL or Saints at the time . Obviously things didn't work out how he was planning .

Why? We have sufficient depth. Had we done that we may well have been stuck with an inferior player signed out of desperation and not had Eastwood next year.

Luckily, the club sees things a bit more lonmg term and do not panic.
