I've heard Chase will be going back to Cas in exchange for Carney. So, if that happens I can't see Burrow going there to play the same role he plays here.

I'd be surprised if Carney got another gig in SL. Would you want him in your side facing Cas potentially four times a year? You may as well put a massive target on his head.

Doubt that reason alone would stop some, like a Catalans or indeed Salford, you think Koukash will stop to think "ooh he might be a target for those games vs Cas".

Not staying his all round game is great but he does score tries at this level, people won't ignore that.

Tricky one if you are Cas. No doubt he's quality but are will they be better as a TEAM if they put Chase in? Balance or brilliance? It becoming the "Rangi Show" again doesn't mean they'll do better.

I wouldn't actually believe that rumour. Infact Cas as a club are complicit with what has gone on.

Carney wasn't just banging one players wife, he was also doing another. The other one the club earlier found about, and dealt with it, with the other player moving on.

Carney's wife has gone back to Australia, and no doubt it seems logical to move back for Carney too. But Cas have put a lot of finance into him, and want to recover it, and are desperate for someone to pay the fee. And I don't believe for one minute that Chase would be back there either.

Correct I did say that and I still believe this was the case, prior to Leeds knowing Aiton wanted out. My source was adamant of this. If we could bring two hookers in and a half back next season I do believe he still wouldn't be here.

I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with our hooker role next season and who we bring in. Also re Andy Gilder, Brierley will Technically be a Leeds player next season and Leeds will be paying part of his salary, so Leigh have got a good deal out of it. If their promoted he gains experience before coming to Leeds in 2017.

Not anymore, Leeds changed the deal on Monday with Craig and Ryan to make sure they end up having Brierley in the end rather than waiting for him to come out of contract (if Leigh got promotion). So either way, he will be at Leigh next season no matter which devision they are in, on loan from Leeds, with Leeds paying part of his salary. He will then join Leeds in 2017. All announced in May next year.

Would make no logical sense if that original idea of "he joins if Leigh don't get promoted" was correct. Especially with Leigh getting promotion looking less likely than before the Middle 8's started.

Why? Why not announce it before the start of the 2016 season? It makes no sense for any of the parties to delay it and hope it doesn't leak out.

I get that, but I don't get why both clubs would start next season with Brierley - now registered as a Leeds player - loaned back to Leigh but none of it made public so to all intents and purposes it looks like he's still a Leigh player? Why not announce it in January, rather than wait until May?

It is never a deal until signed contracts are exchanged. It would appear that this was never contractual and more likely to be just an agreement in principle if key basic terms have been significantly changed.

Did Warrington loan Clark back to Cas in 2014 or did they just sign him for 2015?

I think "officially" he was still a Cas player for SC purposes but Wire paid the transfer fee upfront so Cas could pay the Inland Revenue.
