Is this something which is actually, seriously going to happen or is it just a joke with both playing along?

This should be fun - a fee earner actually doing a full days work? I've been in the legal industry for the past 10 years and I've yet to see this happen.

I think the real question we all need to know is does Gotcha's company employ enough midgets to keep G1 satisfied?

Back on AP's original point though, are we not missing something important here... who exactly will have lost out on revenue, the club or the players? I know that secondary income from a CC & GF apperance, which would come the clubs way should not be sniffed at, but the biggest income would be the prize money surely? As prize money is not subject to salary cap restrictions then I would expect that GH would have given most of it to the players as bonus payments...

From my understanding the prize money for winning is little in comparison to the associated merchandise sales and TV rights.

If GH has budgeted for reaching a final of some description each year then he is foolish to say the least, which is why I honestly believe that the club will survive quite adequately without reaching a final as Da Sleeve aint no fool!

Being pedantic, not reaching finals doesn't really cost money. It just doesn't make money.

I would hope Mr Hethrington's business plans are a bit more sophisticated than some on here imply. If so, then the surplus may not be padded much this year, and maybe the odd small capital investment doesn't happen. I not, then the club wouldn't deserve to trade in the black.

Gotcha, what will be G1's main duties be? Do you envisage a Clinton/Lewinski type professional relationship?

Just to put a stop to this. I challenged whether Gareth had the cahoonas, and i am happy to accept that he does. Now it will remain with me and Gareth. I don't have an ego that needs massaging, so will remain tight lipped.

Mr Gotcha called my bluff and good upon him. I can confirm he, too, has ample sized sweetbreads. We have had discussions and, as Gotcha says, for now those discussions will remain confidential as any employer/employee or client/adviser relationship would.

Was good fun though.
