| Overall frustrating due to brain explosions, but nothing to be too concerned about.
We gifted wigan the game. Goalkicking was the difference and 14 points came as a direct result of brain explosions.
Take away those, and we win the game. Lest us not forget the absence of 3 of our best forwards to boot.
Wigan are knocking off poor teams with ease, won 11 on the trot, now they've beaten the champions, so they'll be cockahoot. But I see through them, I feel like they have a soft underbelly.......flat track bullies. I don't think they will wind up as champions this season.

| Quote ="HyperbolicRhino"Huge, huge effort from Leeds tonight, and I hope it brings them a lot more respect from the "experts" on here than they've been given in recent times. We went toe to toe with Wigan for the entire match, and could so easily have won - I thought the call on the no-try was quite harsh, but then again I guess I'm ever so slightly biased
We looked after Tomkins all match (there were far better options for Man of the Match than him!) and our defence was excellent. Yeah, there were the mistakes along the way (the one leading to Charnley's try was a heartbreaker, but these things happen in rugby - both sides made big mistakes.
I thought Vickery did everything that could have been asked of him today, and I hope all the critics will leave him alone now. The kids were given the gametime so many people have been baying for, and although both stood up really well, they also made mistakes which suggest that taking your time blooding these youngsters instead of throwing pretty much the entire under 19's team in at the same time is definitely the way to go - looks like the coaching team might know what they're doing after all - amazing huh?? I'm sure the "experts" will still find plenty to be critical about, but I thought it was a really good effort from Leeds, and would far prefer to focus on the many positives ratrher than the few negatives.'"
I don't think many people have been calling for mass changes. Most people have been asking for one or two of the youngsters to get a run out which is what happened tonight.
A decent performance tonight not alot between the two sides, and hopefully we can take the form through to next weeks game against hull

If we hadn't of made so many stupid mistakes in the first half I don't think we would have the same result IMO

The letter of the law it was correct. But it had no effect on the try being scored, take our player out of the line, and exactly the same thing would have happened.
They really need to tweak the ruling from what it is currently, to prevent situations like this.

Its a shame he isn't a bit taller, but his power and footwork are excellent. Westwood will very lucky if he gets picked for England before him.
The McGuire try was a no try Its not really a rule open to interpretation I don't think.

You never know with ganson. He should be sacked after last night, human error simply isn't an acceptable explanation because unless he was off his head on drugs or p*ss drunk it simply wasn't an ''error'' that could be made.

Yes, completely overused to the detriment of the viewer being able to see what was going on at times...

Absolutely. I seemed to be spending half my time adjusting to the different views they were giving us. The overhead shots would be useful for someone giving an analysis after the game but is, as you say, annoying whilst you're trying to watch the match.
I thought the game was excellent, particularly Watkins try. He's something special.

| Totally agree Printer they went way ott with it during our game and the angles they wee choosing at the time were sh##.
Onto the match our established players cost us and Wigan made them pay for daft errors.
On the upside our effort was very good imo and credit the Coach for giving Singleton and Sutcliffe decent minutes and i hope they stay in the 17.

Sky 'overused' it for me.
Does offer great views of runs etc but not every shot needs to be from it

| The Sky cam was totally annoying, as was the ref cam....a complete waste of time for me. The sky cam should only be used to look at a different angle of the game after viewing it with the normal camera and not ducking in and out of all three.
As for the game Wigan didn't win it we gave it away, Bailey cost us the six point try trying to play over O'Loughlin, two points for the push on Tomkins, JJB two points for his play the ball and Sinny four points with the brain fart option with seconds to go in the first half..... A total of 14 gifted points and I won't even mention the forward pass for their first. It's clear we won't win the hub cap but who cares about that, what we need to do is cut out gifting the opposition easy points with school boy errors

Only Wigan, it seems. Even Warrinton can't be bothered with it this season! Maybe it should be renamed so we can all compete for the Pie shield next season. No? Alright, hub cap it is then.

| Great game.
I think Mcguire's try should have been given if the rules were approached with common sense. But you never know, Wigan may have come back and had another go - there were still 10 or so minutes left.
The premier fixture in Super League at the moment - Wigan and Leeds are the best in SL on their day and so evenly matched.

| Big effort from Leeds tonight and a good come back after a drop in form and losing key players to injuries. In my book we lost it rather than Wigan won it. Sinfield with his usually goal kicking would have won it. His first half last second gift try was typical of his off form timing at the moment but I can forgive that as he scored an important try himself. Whereas Bailey's contribution to the Wigan scoreline I find difficult to excuse.
Wigan seemed to get most of the 50/50 calls and I thought we looked well prepared and handled their much lauded attack very well. The two youngsters stood up well and must be allowed the odd mistake. JJB and Kylie were immense and I thought Clarkson did a lot of grafting. Vickery did all that was asked of him and Burrow made some good runs and McGuire showed that despite a loss of pace he still has the class.
Considering we were without our 2 best metre making forwards and top tacklers we did ok against their pack. In the end it was mistakes that cost us the game but I can live with that as we can put that right. And well done to Brian Mac for his preparation and motivation.
