I'm heading Leeds way tomorrow with the Panthers.
Is this place a nice short walk from the ground as I believe it serves
a good drop of ale? Or are there better suggestions?

We went in a couple of weeks ago for the first time and I really enjoyed it. Serves ale, blond beers etc.
Would recommend!

Certainly within walking distance to/from the ground, even if it is a little further out of the way than the likes of the Oak, Taps and Skyrack.

Come out of the bar, turn left and head towards the lights, right at the lights, go past the Headingley Taps and Arc and carry on. You'll see a giant green thing ahead of you - that is the cricket ground. The turnstyles for the Western Terrace (the "away" end) are on the other side of that.

I can highly recommend Arcadia as an away fan. I always go in there when my team plays at Headingley.

yes it is a good bar, the only down side was when we last went in we had to put up with a large group of female students dressed in various fancy dress costumes! dont know how i coped

Bar still the same size so it takes an age to get served when busy, unfortunately. I always go in though when watching Leeds.
