| Just caught up on the disciplinary panel charges from last night, spotted the comments regarding Brett Ferres sin bin:
"Player disputes decision of Referee. Does not use abusive language or dispute decision in an aggressive manner. Sin Bin Sufficient."
What does everybody think to that? Disputing a decision *is* technically dissent, however I haven't seen any other yellows this season for the same thing which happens every week for nearly every team in the league.

| The reason Thaler will have gone for the card is because it's the only sanction he had available to him, other than having a quiet word with Ferres and his captain.
The try had been scored and the ball was dead, therefore he can't give a penalty for dissent or march the team back ten metres.
Given Mark Percival got away with just a penalty for using the F-word directly at a referee at the weekend though, the lack of consistency in terms of the severity of offences is crazy.
Seems to be a recurring theme with the disciplinary this season. Dave Taylor in particular seems to be getting away with illegal tackles left, right and centre. Two last weekend have resulted in just a one game ban because he's taken the EGP.
Some players unfortunately get away with murder while others seem to be easy targets for match officials not necessarily of their own making.

| Thaler was shocking he'd already warned Brough twice for chelping then again for having a dig at Lilley.
Conner got away with a warning despite taking Golding head high whilst he caught a bomb & again Wardle just warned for a tip tackle.
The officials & disciplinary a woefully inconsistent & the sooner the RFL get a proper grip on it then they'll go on being unfit for purpose.

| I can only assume it's from questioning the ref too many times if their was no foul or abusive language. When we beat Hull a few weeks back and Burrow got tackled high by Watts, Ablett was moaning to the ref and Hicks said to Burrow to shut Ablett's running commentary up or he'll be in trouble.
If it's not for repetitive chelping then it's an awful decision.

| Ferres was rightfuly sinbinned and the ref shouldnt have to put up with dissent, it was clearly bad and none of you know the full story.
On a related point, is it any wonder your club has lost its professional winning culture when you have lost role model professionals like Kevin Sinfield and hired in washed-up journeymen like Brett Ferres who do nothing except put local academy kids further down the development chain?
