| No thread? or am I just missing something?
Thought we played quite well again today, we're starting to look like a rugby team again. Although I agree with Terry, we made it hard for ourselves and probably should have won more convincingly than we did. We had some luck on our side again which is good. We did some dumb things today however we did some good things too...... Great birthday present for myself and Bonzo
Onwards to Quins next, how does everyone think we'll fare? I personally feel we may lose this one, they have some players back and are finding some form. Although we should have Ferres and possibly Shenny back which is good.

| I'm not sure where the luck came from to be honest. I thought we were caned on the majority of 50/50 decisions. A notable dip in the error count helped us out considerably - it was nice to see the ball by and large sticking in hands, forcing the opposition to defend.
Having said that, Catalans are poor at the mo while Quins are improving. I can't see a win coming in London without at least a couple more bodies back in the side.

| Agree with disco Harlequins look to have got some of their better players back and are playing with confidence, they will probably start as favourites.
Strange old season as about a month ago we would have all said Quins away would be two points in the bag, now you would prefer to play either of the Hull clubs at the moment.

| Gutted as i was at the time i think getting knocked out of the cup may have been the best thing for us our error count seems to have dropped a hell of a lot and the players seem more fired up, plus we get a weeks rest and a chance to get shenton and ferres back whilst quins have to face a tough game against saints first.

| Good effort from the boys, Rangi and Goldy for me looked dangerous whenever they had the ball. Got to say though, we did have the lucky bounce of the ball when we needed it, but ultimately the field position to get that luck was good.
Can't believe how low our error rate looks to be at the minute--this IMO is winning games at the moment.
Good turnout from our fans too considering the season we've had so far!!

| I thought for the first 17/18 minutes our performance was near perfect. No mistakes, no penalties against us, sustained pressure and repeat sets, very strong defence and two well-worked tries. Then it all went a bit wonky for 15 minutes and we started conceding silly penalties and putting the ball down, which gave Catalans the momentum and ultimately got them back into the game as they capitalised on our errors.
Sherwin's first try was a mere 10 seconds of brilliant opportunism and probably gave the team the lift they needed going into the break, although we didn't fully regain our composure until the second half. I was a bit nervous at times in that second half, thinking we were going to throw away a 12 point lead, but the players showed a distinct change in attitude to previous games this season and worked hard to ensure the win - and I believe our biggest ever win against Catalans.
It was a very nice birthday present and I thank the team for it.

| I said that if we got 4 points from salford, cats and quins i would be happy so i'm pretty pleased that we have reached that with the quins game to go, get a win against quins and the play offs dont look that unrealistic of a goal.

| I think we controlled the game. Silly mistakes cost us, but cost them more.
Chase had an outstanding game and thought he was the MoM. The forwards out muscled their big pack and it was nice to see a kicking game.
However, Thompson found out that SL isn't as easy as he had it against Salford. He made a few mistakes and missed tackles wish I'm sure he will learn from.

Yes, TM took him off 20 minutes from the end, hopefully it doesn't see him dropped for the next game.
On the subject of youngsters, I thought Oliver Holmes had a good game up the middle, certainly didn't look out of place out there and did his work without fuss.
